How Much Do I Suck?

That question is rhetorical, Internetz. Please don't answer it.

But let's face it. I totally suck.

Related: how many people are going to be TOTALLY disappointed that such a title leads them to an infertility blog?

Anyways...

Internetz, I know I've been an awful blogger. But here's the deal. I just don't know what to write about. It's like I've lost my blogging mojo. I'm not getting regular dates with the ultrasound wand anymore, so I can't write about that. And I know that writing about the girls and parenting via adoption may be painful/boring/not your cup of tea/fill in the blank here for some of you.

So what do I do? Has this blog run it's course? Or can I find my mojo again?

If I could write you any post, Internetz, what would you want me to write?

Hopefully there are still some of you out there who will comment and let me know.

Personally, I wouldn't mind hearing about your feelings about parenting after infertility. I can't imagine that the pain of IF isn't totally gone (though maybe a bit diminished now that you have a new role as a mum).

Writing about your girls may be painful for some of us who haven't been able to add to our family yet, but its your new life now. And you never know, some of us might find stories of your new experiences useful.

Speaking for myself, but I'd love to hear about your parenting / adoption experiences. I've been wondering how you're getting along.

Tell us about parenting after adoption/infertility

I think that our blogs evolve with our lives. Will I stop blogging after Halfling 2.0 arrives in a few months and we are officially done with building our family? I hope not. IF will always be a part of my life, even if I'm not ttc any longer. And I think our voices can still offer support to the community because we've walked that road.

All that said, I would LOVE to hear about life with your girls!

(Success stories are an important part of our community too!)

Talk about your life...the girls, parenting after infertility, how IF still affects your life, everything.

Tell us about the girls and your new role as a mother...my infertility/pcos blog turned adoption blog is now a parenting blog where I talk about motherhood and adoption.

Tell us about the parenting after adoption. Blogs are evolving with us and sure we all followed you to stay in touch, not just till the couple becomes a trio (or a quartet in your case!). So don't be shy and don't disappear. Love, Fran

Its ok to turn this into a mommy after if blog!!!! It is hard bc you don't want to offend, but this is where you are now and if it hurts people at this time they can take a break!

I think the blog can grow with you. It is still your personality and your writing style. Write want you want, be a beacon of hope to others in the IF/adoption world, strike out in a new direction. The internet is waiting for you! :-)

I think that parenting after IF is important. Speaking for myself, being able to share my "mom thoughts" is a good outlet. They did a story on the news today about how moms who blog are (insert a percentage I can't remember because I have mommy brain) happier and less depressed.

Welcome back! IMO, you should write about whatever you feel most comfortable writing about - whether it be parenting, IF, adoption, or a little bit of everything. Whatever it is, I'll be reading along. :)
