Sometimes it's salty.
Sometimes it's sweet.
Sometimes it's both.
With Halloween almost upon us I can practically hear the candy calling my name. Surely a taste test or two (or 15) is required? I mean I'm just doing quality assurance to make sure that the candy is nothing but the finest of quality for the kids, right?
RIGHT?
Think of the children! That's what I'm doing.
Besides, I think the mini chocolate bars are screaming my name. I'm just eating them to shut them up.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Just think of it this way, the more candy u eat, the less candy the kids will get, WHICH is good because that's less tummy aches & cavities =) haha

I whole-heartedly agree with taste testing the candy before Halloween. I mean, you wouldn't want to be the house with the stale, nasty candy, would you? That's just begging to get your house egged!
Oh yeah, and I have found that I have to test quite a few, just to be sure. And if you buy the bags with different kinds of candy in it, you have to try a couple of each kind.
I agree...I had to buy the snickers and the twix...who is to say that the kids even like those ones?
I like your way of thinking!
I totally had to put my candy bowl on the top of the cabinet so that I don't to always be looking at it...because it makes me want it too bad if I'm looking at it every time I come in the room.
I can't buy candy until the day before Halloween because the screaming is deafening! ;-) I don't know why I don't hand out something healthy like pretzels....
I love salty and sweet combinations. You are not the only one. I opened one bag of our candy. I won't open anymore yet because I know I'll eat it if I do.
Taste-testing and quality assurance are indeed very, very important for the welfare of the kids. Such self-sacrifice should be awarded... With more candy! ;-)
Halloween candy is of the devil. We must get it out of the hands of children, and the only way to do that is to eat it. We're doing THAT for their own good. ;)
I <3 the salty/sweet combo, possibly more than any other combo in the world. Protect the children, eat the candy.
Sounds perfectly logical to me! Stick to that story, it's a good one!
*HUGS*
Taste testing is a perfectly respectable job! ;-)
I've been eating leftover candy as I am doing blog reading today. I am going to feel like crap about it later.
yum....
Hiya

Dude! You cannot post this kind of title!! I went hauling ass over here... ;-)
Alas, who doesn't crave Halloween candy? No additional hormones required on that one. In fact, I think I'll go grab some leftovers now...
HUGS :-)
