Remember me?

Oh Internetz, I suck a bit because I haven't been posting.

Thanks to those of you who sent me sweet emails to see if I was still kicking around the web-o-sphere. Someone actually missed me!

All is well, I promise. The long and the short of it is that my job tends to entail a great deal of writing at times - and at the moment I'm in one of those times. So writing a lot for work means, you guessed it, not much juice left for the ol' blog!

That said, I'll try and keep things interesting around here lest you all give up on me!

The weight loss saga has had both ups and downs but I'm pleased to say that I'm back on an "up" at the moment. I will update you more fully in a post of it's own because hey, that gives me incentive to write!

Irish Boy and I celebrated 11 amazing years of marriage on Saturday. 11! How did we get this far? Once again, I would like to remind you all that I was a child bride.

Also exciting (at least to me), is that I've finally attempted knitting! This has always been something I wanted to do, but being severely craft-challenged, I was always too afraid. Thanks to inspiration from many of you, I went to a "learn to knit" class on Saturday morning and had a great time! I am going to attempt to knit a scarf (I was told I could handle this!) so stay tuned! Who knows, maybe I'll find my craft gene after all.

Irish Boy and I have also been having a lot of discussions about our IF next steps. Whatever it will be, it won't be for a while (thank you lack of finances and weight loss), so I will confess that there may not be nearly as much talk of injections and wandings as you're used to from me! At least not for now!

That said, I hope you'll stick with me?

Happy to hear from you again! I'm in a downward cycle of weightloss, um, Mighty Kids mean from McD's today for lunch, yea. So kudos for you being on the upward trend!!! Happy Anniversary and yay for taking knitting. It really wasn't that bad? I'd love to try, but I'm afraid of new things especially in class settings.

Happy Anniversary! Good job on 11 years of marriage. I won't achieve that landmark until 2016, which seems like a lifetime away. Don't worry, chick, we'll still read you no matter what you write about. We heart you.

We all definitely go through those low posting days, weeks, months, what have you. The important thing is that you come back and visit when you can. The great thing about blogging is it never goes anywhere.

Congrats on the new craft adventure. It is very theraputic. I hope you continue to love it. :)

I hope you had a nice anniversary :)

Good luck with the knitting. I am very impressed that you know enough to make a scarf! I don't know how to knit at all, but it looks cool.

Happy anniversary!

Congrats on the knitting - I am a terribly slow knitter, and I have a few projects hiding in the back room. Here's hoping you can get your fingers in the rhythm and whip up a few fabulous pieces.

Good luck with the weight loss - it's a daily battle.

of course we'll stick with you!

I just learned to knit earlier this summer, after saying I wanted to learn forever. I think I'll stick to my other crafty habits though :(
