Pain in the...

You know it's funny, even though we are totally on an IF treatment break, I still find myself somewhat keeping track of things like my cycle length, what my period's like (if it actually shows up) and the like. I probably couldn't tell you exactly what cycle day I'm on, but I'm just kind of semi-aware, you know?

As of this morning, I've been feeling a strange pain on and off on my left side. It's a pain in my left ovary if you want me to get specific - nothing major but it's there. It reminds me of the ovulation pain that I sometimes would get when I was doing injections.

Could it be, Internetz? Could my crazy body actually be ovulating on its own?

Naturally I don't have any OPK's in the house to see - and am refusing (for now) to buy any. Since Irish Boy has no sperm it's not like this means anything overly earth shattering for us - but wow! How cool would that be if I was actually ovulating on my own?

A rare moment for me - so I'm going to take it as a definite possibility and relish in the moment!

Go body go!

It would be really awesome if you were ovulating on your own! I keep hoping that will happen for me, but right now....nuttin! Maybe it's good news on at least one front for you!

It would be a step up in the right direction if you were!! That's a good thing! Too bad you don't have OPK's to find out for sure. Best wishes!

It's a beautiful thing when your body does what it's supposed to:)

Sounds really promising. Always comforting to think your body is doing what it's supposed to, so why not enjoy it?

That would be something to celebrate in any case sweetie! But I understand perfectly the fact that there's no chance of getting pregnant naturally (as it's the case for me having no tubes) so the anxiety is also gone. Enjoy your working ovaries because in IF anything that works is a pin on the jacket! Love, Fran

Hopefully the med and injects were training wheels and your ovaries are on big girl bikes now, doing it all on their own!

I'll pray you start ovulating on your own. I have PCOS and do not ovulate either. I actually just started my own blog to document our process, stop by and check it out.
