Paging Dr. Google

Happy Friday, Internetz! I know, I know, I've been a bit M.I.A. lately. Mostly, it's due to a super busy couple of weeks at work and partly due to the fact that I have no idea what to tell you. I'm still in the midst of the two week wait and do you really want to hear about the mindfuckery that goes on in my head?

Well hopefully someone does because today I'm presenting a dose of it!

I've got another week before my beta and to be honest I go through days of wanting it to just hurry up and get here to days of just feeling 'meh' about the whole thing. This cycle - especially post-dIUI - has been rather strange.

Strange in that I'm feeling absolutely nothing. No cramping, nothing. So different from my last cycle when I would've sworn that I felt implantation. Let's not go there on how wrong I was. Ahem.

But yes, nothing. Nothing except a super stuffy nose for the past week which I'm chalking up to a weird cold (an inconsistent dry cough has started in the last day or so) or to the fact that since I'm shoving blue pills up my hoo* (*please read my previous post if that has you going, "Whaaa?"), I've got enough estrogen in my system that's contributing to the stuffy nose syndrome.

Of course Dr. Google says that a stuffy nose can be an early pregnancy sign - but I'm going to tell Dr. Google to shove it where the sun don't shine - I won't fall for his vicious traps this time!

Of course, I haven't totally neglected blogging. Over on our joint blog at Conceive, my husband and I have created our very own Top 10 List of Distractions During the Two Week Wait. Go on over and add your own to the list!

By this time next week I predict that I will either be a puddle of joy or a puddle of despair - but either way - ready to keep on riding this crazy IF ride no matter where it takes me. The best part? Having you along with me. I don't know what I would do without this amazing IF community. It may be the elevated progesterone and estrogen talking, but you I love you guys!

My nose was super stuffy last week and the beginning of this week. It's since cleared up. I don't know if that was a sign or if it was just the changing seasons...but I got a BFP.

I'm loving your comments about telling Dr. Google to shove it. I reeeally need to follow that lead!!!

I hope you enjoy your 2ww as much as possible. I'm hoping for a happy beta!

Oh, Dr. Google. That guy is always giving misleading information. I'm so glad you told him to shove it. I hope this next week flies by and you have a BFP waiting for you at the end!

You have such a great attitude and the lovely people in the IF community who support you, do it because they want to be a part of your team... talking honestly and straightforwardly about the ups and downs, the hopes and fears. You tell it like it is, and your authenticity is touching. And...you make people laugh. I so wish that this time is a winner for you both.

I'm crossing my fingers, toes, and other appendages in hopes that your blue hoo & ute give you that BFP!

Thank-you for following my blog. Good luck! I keep on forgetting that I'm out of the two-week wait, and still get a twinge of excitement if I get heartburn or nausea. Fingers crossed for you.
