Joke's On Me?

Happy April Fool's Day, Internetz!

I wish that I had an awesome prank for you, alas, I don't! I do however have two - possibly three - follicles that are on the move and had better do their thing!

I had my dIUI this morning so in two weeks the joke may or may not be on me! Not sure if having an IUI on April Fool's Day is a good or bad omen, but I'm taking the positive for now and hoping for the best.

Thanks to you all for your kind words and suggestions in my last post. Luckily Nurse Awesome was on for my IUI today so I was able to chat with her about my lining. She wasn't horribly concerned - though I will be on progesterone suppositories as per usual. She's also going to consult with the RE to see if I should be put on some estrogen so I should know by later this afternoon whether I need to add that to my repetoire.

So now I wait. And wait. And wait. And wait some more.

And that, my friends, might be the cruelest prank of all. Oh the waiting!!

Did you pull any April Fool's pranks? Distract me and share them!

I hope this dIUI is "the one" for you! I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!

No pranks as of yet - I fear April 1st because I feel like people take advantage of my trusting nature. haha!

Nothing but good luck is on you. It better be. Dammit.

This morning, Frank and I woke the kids up by frantically running into their rooms and telling them to hurry up because we were late. Their bus leaves at 7:10. We told them it was 7:00. It was really 6:30. I've never seen them all move so fast in my life.

No jokes here but I totally want to play one on my oldest nephew.

I don't usually do April Fool's jokes because I think it's just a cruel day, but when my dog brought me part of a deer leg (complete with hoof!) I couldn't resist bypassing the dumpster and putting it on my husband's windshield.

He'll see it when he leaves for work. :)

I think an AFD IUI is a great idea. You are fooling your body and making it do something it hasn't done...get knocked up! I hope you 2ww goes by fast and you get some very 'positive' news at the end of your wait!!!
