As The Follicles Grow

Last time on "As The Follicles Grow" (insert dramatic soap opera-y music here):

A vicious snow storm made a date for a wanding almost impossible but Fertility Chick persevered and made it alive. Down in Ovary Town Lefty was hopping with three maturing follicles. At last she was dominating Ladyville. Always second fiddle to her more productive sister, Righty, it was Lefty's time to shine.

Until... Righty started catching up. One mature follicle had appeared. Would Lefty be left in the dust again? Could Righty catch up? Find out now on tonight's edition of: "As The Follicles Grow."

But first, a word from tonight's sponsor, the Limerick Chick contest. Voting has begun! Click on the link on my side bar to check out all of the great limericks and start voting! I believe that mine will be in the second flight and votes for that start on Friday. Come on out and vote for the fun of it!

And now, back to "As The Follicles Grow."

Bright and early Monday morning was another wanding event down in Ladyville. My ovaries must be in overdrive because Lefty's three follicles were growing nicely (16, 14 and 14 I think) and Righty now had two (11 and 12). It's been another couple of nights of Follistim and I go back tomorrow morning to see when it's trigger time. I'm anticipating that by the end of the week it will be dIUI time with three follies in the running.

As I tweeted last night, "My ovaries feel heavy. Either that or my balls just dropped." Totally inappropriate infertility humour!

I don't know if it's my nightly use of Circle+Bloom, the combination of the Femara and Follistim, or Sheriff Provera's clean out of Ladyville, or all of the above but I have never responded so well to the meds! Am I crazy to be so hopeful that this might actually work?

Stay tuned tomorrow for our next installment of "As the Follicles Grow!" AND - for my "Sock It To Me" post - my socks arrived today and I'm so excited to show them to you!

Following from through FF. I know, I'm late- it's been a rough week! I'm gald to hear you are responding so well to the meds. I have PCOS as well, so I had to stop bye. If it weren't for inappropriate infertility humor, we would be crying all of the time. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
