It Begins Again

Internetz, let me welcome you to Cycle Day 1.

There's a new sheriff down in Ladyville and that sheriff's name is Provera. It's clearing out everything and I do mean everything to make way for that what is to come.

If I may digress for but a moment to say the following:

WORST. CRAMPS. EVER.

WORST. RAGING. HEADACHE. EVER.

WISHING. I. COULD. BE. HORIZONTAL. ALL. DAY.

WHERE. IS. THE. ADVIL. AND. THE. HEATING. PAD?!

Ladyville is taking one hell of a beating and Sheriff Provera is taking no prisoners. To all of the ladies out there who deal with hella bad periods on a regular basis, I salute you, because holy hell, this is brutal. My heart goes out to you because I probably am not even experiencing close to what some of you go through.

The fertility clinic has been called. My husband has almost come out of hiding (Provera's sidekick Stabby still lingers.) And I have a date for a good old fashioned wanding (that is a probing by good ol' Wandy, the ultrasound wand) on Friday morning.

I'm guessing that the Femara and Follistim will be ordered up, and that means, dear friends, that I am back in the game.

Here we go...!

I hope that you're feeling better soon. UGH! I'm glad you're one day closer though to the rest of the cycle.

And I'm scared about what's to come for me...this is my first time with good ol' provera!

Oooo... glad that AF has shown up, but that sucks about the cramps and headache. My cramps used to be crazy bad, so I know what you mean... heat really is your best friend. Feel better soon! Sending prayers for an amazingly successful cycle!

w00t!
I mean, the crampy awful AF is not good but the moving on to a fresh new cycle is awesome! I know I'll be happy when cd1 arrives ... today is cd5 and I'm on the bench this cycle due to a Clomid induced 4cm cyst. Lovely. My u/s on Tuesday found that. Thrilling! SO I have a month to sit back and think about what direction we want to go. We can do Femera w/ Trigger & Progesterone or we can jump right in to injections w/Trigger & Progesterone. Decisions, decisions. Hoping this cycle is it for ya girl!

Yes, congratulations!! AF is here don't you feel like a woman?? (At least when I had gone over 6 mo. without my period and AF finally came to town, we felt like celebrating puberty!) Welcome back aboard the Fertility Train! Good luck!

That sounds horrible! I had bad periods when I was in my late teens early 20's but they aren't nearly as bad now. I remember dreading "that time of month". I hope this is all for a BFP soon!

I always feel so hopeful at the start of a new cycle. I'll be hoping with you for a BFP!

To the tune of Lady GaGa's "Love Game"... (well, vaguely to the tune, at least)

Let's make some spawn, this beat is sick,
I wanna have a date with a love wand stick

Let's date a love wand, date a love wand,
date a love wand....

Good luck!

Good luck to you and hang in there - the cramps usually only last for 2 - 3 days!
