Fuss Closet

Remember how I was all sad yesterday? I want to thank all those who left sweet comments. It really helped. It really, really did.

I'll classify that as my Provera Stage 1: Sadness.

Today, I think I'm definitely entering Provera Stage 2: Fussy and Irritated. By Friday I may be at the final stage, also known as bat shit crazy!

Today I need a Fuss Closet. Like really and truly need one. Bad.

What is a fuss closet you ask? Picture a decent sized closet with enough padding on the walls and floor that should you need to go in there and hurl yourself around while screaming and fussing, it would suffice. Imagine putting on some sweats, tying your hair back and just hurling yourself around raging until all of the Provera pissy-ness and stress of the day wears off. You would emerge from said closet a new woman! A sweaty woman, yes. A potentially crazy woman, but hey, who you calling crazy?!

Every home should really have one. A fuss closet that is, not a crazy woman. The fuss closet should definitely be a staple in the home of one using fertility drugs. Seriously, what was I thinking? I should have told the builder to install padding in our bedroom closet.

Should a Fuss Closet not be your thing, may I also recommend sticking your head into the dryer and screaming your bloody head off. This will make you feel better (and possibly light headed). Trust me on this. I speak from experience.

Please join with me in a good ol' fashioned Provera fist-shaking. Damn drug. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I have to go and bite my husband's head off.

Can I put Hubby in the fuss closet when he gets into one of those moods?

A fuss closet should become the newest hot home reno project. The trendiest homes simply have to have one!

I hope you feel better soon!

Stupid Provera. I'm sorry it's making you so sad and crazy and fussy. If I had a fuss closet, I would need to have a candy floss dispenser at the top, so that when I'm done and exhausted from fussing I could just reach up and grab and handful and sit and eat my sugar in peace.
I hope it gets better soon, FerChi!!! Hang in there!
Love,
Maddy

I love your post! I too was so crabby yesterday and sad, but not sure why. I'm chalking mine up to pre-adoption blues. I never took Provera, but I took Lupron during my IVF cycles and it was the same story. I could still use a fuss closet. Good luck with everything and hang in there!

Gah I totally remember taking provera. Hang in there girl it's only a ten day pill taking fest.(unless for some reason you're taking it longer than that and then I'm truly sorry!)

I think I need one of those fuss closets, but then I may not ever come out. =P

Wow! It sounds like the Provera should come with a free fuss-closet kit - Buy One Provera Get One Fuss-Closet Free! Sorry you're going through this horrible mood-changing mind-altering (not in a good way) phase. Hope it'll be over soon and you end up with a baby at the end of all this!!! Hang in there! Luv, Z

haha - poor DH! I need a fuss closet on days...I prefer to plop myself in front of the TV and give the look of death to anyone who tries to talk to me. TV = pacifier.

I think I need a room. Not just a closet, lol!

Can you imagine a bunch of us in a fuss closet together? I picture it like a mosh-pit, but b/c we understand what the other is going through, we're like "oh, excuse me" "aaaarrrgghhhh!!" "oops sorry" "aaaaaahhh!" ;) Hope that at least gave you a smile!

Ugh, I need a fuss closet. STAT. It needs to be a walk-in closet, too. :)

oh my - that is exactly what I need. A fuss closet. Then I wouldn't have to whine to my hubby all day haha. I can't imagine how fertility drugs effect a person, but I know even just being sick, tired, emotional, morning sickness and prego makes me feel over the edge.

Ahhh, that would be so nice! I would love a fuss closet. I'll have to go try to convince dh to get me one- in our little under 900 sq ft apartment.
