Inappropriate!

When I first ventured into the world of IF, I became rather, erm, obsessed with grooming. You know, down in Ladyville.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like I was Chewbacca beforehand, but ladies, you know how it is. Yes, it was important to have nice smooth legs, but with all of those ultrasounds and general poking around down there, I felt rather obligated to keep the terrain neat and tidy.

Well it's been quite a few months since I've had to deal with Wandy and the like. But perhaps it's time to think about sprucing up Ladyville again, prepping of course to return to treatments in the New Year.

Lest it starts to look like this down there:

Inappropriate!

But come on. You know what I'm talking about.

Love the picture that you picked out for this post!
My old doctors office the RE did all the scans, so he saw everything in 'full glory', my new clinic (which is much better in many other ways) the ultrasound tech just hands me the wand under the sheet/coverup, and I insert it, then he takes it back.... so, if I'm a little lax in that area, no one knows!

I know what you mean! but is it going to be razor or wax?? Much love, Fran

I was the opposite! The more poking and prodding, the less I worried about it. I used to get all spruced up before going to my annual appointment! Now not so much. A little trimming but thats it!

I'm the same as Tina - at first I was meticulous about grooming what a friend so elegantly (ahem) calls "panty beard". Now, after goodness knows how many strangers have visited my lady-bits, I just trim and go :-)

Ha!

My clinic is the same as AF Recruiters for the ultrasounds...but then since I'm lax on that part for those appointments, (and now that it's winter) I tend to forget about the basic leg shaving for those appointments. Whoops.

I'm beginning to think the techs must have been a little disappointed with my complete lack of attention to the appearance of my bits. I've always been paranoid about them being spotlessly clean for scans but as for the rest, it's staying!

I have to admit to being a bit granola and don't really do much if anything beyond a good wash. :)

I used to get bikini waxes but they are too expensive and shaving doesn't work. I figure they've seen it all from full bloom to baby's ass smooth (which imho is just too much - I've tried twice and it was weird).

Oddly enough I feel like I should shave my legs - maybe it's 10 years in NYC that made me give a tiny bit of a shit. I've been guilted into shaving my legs!!

hahaha! i usually take it all off and when i started treatments i thought about letting it get a little messy because i didn't want my doc to think i was a hoochie mama or something. i bet they don't even notice. they only care about the insides. :)

I always wondered how everyone else felt about it but was too chicken to ask! How lame that I don't think to do that for my hubby but I do for a complete stranger...
