Drive-by Posting

Have to make this short and sweet since Irish Boy and I are about to head to the movies for the evening.

Remember when I was in this "I'm totally going to starting making exercise a serious priority and start eating right" ever since my birthday a couple of weeks ago? I even was out walking daily and eating well.

Yeah...well, that tanked to put it mildly. Exercise and eating right has been out the window since Thanksgiving. I continue to resemble this: No, that's not a giant ribbed condom. (Though someday remind me to tell you the tale of me kicking someone dressed up a giant condom at the university bar - oh, those were the days!)

Yes, it is the Michelin Man.

At least that son of a bitch is running. More than can be said for me!

I think I need a serious kick in the ass. Or an intervention.

Anyone?

DAMMIT! we are getting back on track, or i'm gonna have to haul my fat-ass to canada mid-winter (yikes!) to make us both work out/exercise. or worse. i'll make you come to utah. yeah. that's a threat. get it in gear, sister. (how was that for tough love?)

I'm with you! I keep telling myself that IF is not a good reason to not exercise but I have no willpower. It is so hard!!

Oh my gosh, its a shame how lazy I am lately.... thinking about exercise should be enough, no?

Ugh -- don't I know it. I'm doing the whole "be healthy" thing with the Boy, so that makes it sort of easier. But still... it's not super fun.
I'm happy to share my growing collection of low fat recipes, if that's helpful... some are even pretty decent.

My exercising and cutting down the carbs went out the window this month as well. It's hard to get motivated and hard to eat less when on metformin. Hope you enjoy your night out.

I think I could use the same kick! Hope you enjoyed the movie...what did you see?

My doctor tells me babies love fat, and not to get too skinny. (I know - I am NO help at all, am I? There goes my career as a personal trainer!)

Dude I totally hear ya. I could use that very same kick myself.

Good luck with that.

Don't beat yourself up too much. Life is sometimes hard and getting fitter is definitely hard. In my next life I want to come back as one of those women - you know the ones that can eat anything and still look fantastic. Of course with my luck I will be a pot belly pig.
On the serious side I think it is plain trial and error until you find the thing that works for you and your body. For me I hate diet advice almost as much as IF advice. Neither makes me fill any better and both make me want to fall into a vat of chocolate or beer.

Too bad we don't live by each other...We could be kicking each others asses! Girl I think you could be my sister because I resemble that too!

Ha! Michelin Man, awesome. I'm totally picking up what you're throwing down. My bootie just got back into exercise and I curse every action that requires moment the following day.
