Oh where, oh where can my period be?

Today should be CD-1. The little app on my iPod says so. By all accounts since it's Day 32 it should be so. The last two cycles - which were injectible IUI's - my period showed up smack bang on time. It was so cruel that it arrived even before I could go into the clinic for bloodwork to confirm pregnancy. Bastard!

Well I'm on a break cycle, so with the exception of my Metformin, and now more recently, my endless supply of naturopathic supplements, I've had no other reproductive assistance this month. But I was hopeful, nay, sure, that my period would not let me down. My period knew that staying regular would be important to me over this break. It would give me the hope by arriving on time that some of my ladyville bits were finally doing what they were supposed to do.

Well Jesus H. Christ if that hasn't gone to hell in a handbasket. I've got no period - no symptoms - and hell, definitely no pregnancy.

Please join me in giving me my AWOL period a one-finger salute.

Until this damn thing shows up, I may be holed up in the house watching 80s sitcoms and eating chocolate. I ain't leaving till this bitch arrives!

That's about the best I could do with showing a one-finger salute. It actually looks like a penis with sidebags.

Either way, hoping that AF crashes in for a landing sooner rather than later!

I know, right? The period is not there when you want it, and there when you don't. The cruelty that is PCOS. I sympathize with you... I too am waiting for a period that will not show.
